Easter in Jotunheimen

Perhaps challenging ascents and descents are more tempting? Then it's good to know that Spiterstulen Bre- og Fjellføring is in place with a varied and exciting range of tours.

There will be different hiking options every day during Easter. The hiking options will primarily consist of medium and long summit tours, such as Leirhø or Styggehø. There could also be randonee introductions, long mountain ski tours, glacier tours to Eventyrisen on Svellnosbreen, or mountain trips with children including campfires, sausages, and ski games. As tradition dictates, there will be a group tour Around Piggen during Easter. In addition to this, the guiding team wants to assess the weather and conditions before deciding on the hiking options, but a tentative hiking program will be posted on Facebook ahead of Easter. It may change at short notice due to weather, avalanche risk, skiing conditions, and input from guests. Every evening at 9 PM, there is a Guide Meeting where tomorrow's tours are presented, and there is an opportunity to get tips for your own tours or information about weather and conditions.
